Prehistoric Preschool 2017: Fall Session 1 - "New Mexico's Dinosaurs & Prehistoric Reptiles"

New Mexico's Dinosaurs & Prehistoric Reptiles: What do Tyrannosaurs Rex, Seismosaurus, and Quetzalcoatlus all have in common? Despite being some of the biggest animals of their kind they are also all found here in New Mexico. So get your magnify glass and pickax and prepare for an adventure into prehistoric times to discover what dinosaurs and prehistoric reptiles are unique to New Mexico! 
   
This classes times are: 

  • Thursday 11 am - 1 pm: August 31st, September 14th, September 28th, & October 12th
  • Thursday 2 pm - 4 pm: August 31st, September 14th, September 28th, & October 12th               
  • Saturday 11 am - 1 pm: September 2nd, September 16th, September 30th, & October 14th   
  • Saturday 2 pm - 4 pm: September 2nd, September 16th, September 30th, & October 14th

Prehistoric Preschool is a Museum program for 3- to 5- year-olds and their grown-ups to explore natural history topics in a supportive and fun atmosphere. All activities are child-centered, hands-on, and age appropriate.  Classes include two hours of crafts, songs, games, puppet shows, investigating specimens from the Museum's collections, walks through museum exhibits, and a fun and healthy snack.

Participants choose to attend either Thursday, Friday, or Saturday morning classes from 9 AM to 11 AM. There is also a Saturday afternoon class from 12 PM to 2 PM. There are 4 classes in each session, and classes meet every other week.

Price: 
$90.00 for the first child, $81.00 for the second child. Museum members receive a 10% discount.
