TITANIC: The artifact exhibition Open To Media For Advance Press Preview

Be the First to View the Blockbuster Exhibition

WHAT:  On March 20, 2013, be the first to view Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, before its Albuquerque debut. Seen by more than 25 million visitors world-wide, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition features 125 authentic artifacts that have been recovered from the wreck site of Titanic, 2.5 miles beneath the ocean surface.

Visitors are quickly drawn back in time to 1912 upon entrance, as each receives a replica boarding pass of an actual passenger aboard Titanic. They then begin their chronological journey through the life of Titanic, moving through the Ship’s construction, to life on board, to the ill-fated sinking and amazing artifact rescue efforts. They will marvel at the re-created interior of the Ship, and press their palms against an iceberg while learning of countless stories of heroism and humanity.

The Exhibition will open to the public beginning on March 23, 2013. For more information, visit www.nmnaturalhistory.org, or call 505-841-2800.
