Come join us for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of our collections. The museum holds over 100,000 specimens used by scientists all over the world for research. In our Biosciences department, you will see preserved animals and plants that highlight the biodiversity of New Mexico. In our fossil preparation lab, you will see bones being carefully extracted from rock and mounted for storage. In our Geosciences department, you will see fossils spanning the history of life in New Mexico.

This tour is free of charge but does require pre-registration and space is limited.

Registrants must be at least 10 years old and any one under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.
