Description:  Paws and Stripes was established in 2010 by Lindsey Kay, she had a family member suffering from PTSD and every service dog program she looked into was too expensive. This presentation will talk about the process of enrolling, what our mental health programs on site are, some do's and don't's to service dogs and how you need to interact in public, as well as a demonstration of tasks by 2 service dog teams and more.

Mission:

To provide animal-assisted therapy and other mental health services to military veterans and their loved ones living with service-connected trauma.

Veterans and their dogs living without isolation.
