Dinosaur Detectives: 8-10 year olds. 

What does a pigeon have in common with a T. rex? Don your paleontologist’s hat and join us as we travel into the past to understand what makes a dino a dino and explore the environments they lived in! We will explore Museum collections, make fossils, and discover all about life in ancient New Mexico.

 


Dinosaur Explorers: 5-7 year olds.

Be a paleontologist for the day! Dig into the prehistoric world of the past and learn all about creatures that lived eons ago and the environments they lived in. Explore Museum collections, make fossils, and discover all about life in ancient New Mexico.


April 1 – 5, 2024

Awesome Astronomy – 8-10 year olds

Blast off on a celestial adventure through the solar system and beyond! Become a space explorer and investigate the solar system and Milky Way Galaxy with exciting activities. We will explore the huge variety of celestial objects, the Winter Solstice, space flight, and so much more. Campers will enjoy all that the Museum has to offer including the planetarium!


Space Explorers – 5-7 year olds. 

Planets and stars and meteorites, oh my! Become a space explorer and investigate the solar system and Milky Way Galaxy with exciting activities and planetarium shows. We will also get the chance to speak face to face with an expert who is currently working on the Mars rovers!


· Price per camp (per week): $300.00 (Members: $270.00)

· All camps are for children ages 5-10 from 9:00-4:00

· Parents may drop off beginning at 8:45

· 5-year-olds must have experience in full-day classes before attending

· The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science reserves the right to cancel camps that do not reach a minimum of six participants. A full refund will be given if a camp is canceled for this reason.
