Kits are loaned for a two-week period.
There is no cost for loan, but borrower must be able to pick up and return kit. Please e-mail in advance to be sure a kit is available

Fossils

The primary focus of this kit is to show the different modes of fossilization. This kit contains a large assortment of mainly New Mexico fossils and a study guide. Download kit contents list here

Minerals and Rocks

This kit shows the differences between rocks and minerals. It contains minerals associated with the Mohs hardness scale, an assortment of sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks, and a study guide. Download kit contents list here

Birds

The bird kit concentrates on birds and bird adaptation. Specimens include wings, feet, skulls and eggs of a number of birds. Download kit contents list here 

Marine invertebrates

The main focus of this kit is taxonomy (classification) using marine (ocean) invertebrates. Includes cnidarians, mollusks, echinoderms, and arthropods. Download kit contents list here
